Spray Notes Terms
Version 1.0 (draft) · Effective 13 October 2026
Spray Notes are a playful way to celebrate a look you love. This page explains exactly what they are, and what they are not.
1. What Spray Notes are
At a real owambe, people “spray” money on the dancers they love. Spray Notes bring that spirit to Owambe Meter: they are virtual celebration items you can send to a look to say “this one is special”.
Please read this part
Spray Notes are not money. They are not Nigerian naira, US dollars or any other currency; they are not e-money, a bank deposit, a voucher, or a store of value; and they have no cash value. Do not treat them as if they do. They are an in-app feature for fun, not an investment or payment method.
2. Your two balances
| Balance | What it holds | What you can do with it |
|---|---|---|
| Spend balance | Notes you can spray. | Spray them on other members’ looks. Spent Notes are gone. |
| Rewards balance | Notes other members sprayed on your looks. | See them as a mark of appreciation. At present they cannot be exchanged for money, converted to the spend balance, or transferred. |
Sprays come in fixed amounts of 50, 100, 500 or 1,000 Notes. A spray can carry a short message and you may choose to send it anonymously, so that the recipient does not see your name. You cannot spray your own looks.
3. How you get Spray Notes
Right now, Spray Notes cannot be bought and there is no way to cash out. Notes appear in your spend balance only when we grant them, for example in a promotion or as a test. A grant is a gift from us for fun and is not a payment.
If we later let you buy Notes, or let eligible members turn rewards into money, we will tell you first. That would come with its own written terms, prices, identity and age checks, taxes, and limits, and we will only apply them to you after you have seen and accepted them.
4. Rules
- No cash value and no refunds. Notes you have spent cannot be refunded or reversed, except where the law requires it or where we find a technical error or abuse.
- Not transferable. You may not sell, trade, gift or buy Notes outside the app, or offer money or anything else in exchange for sprays or votes.
- One person, one account. Using several accounts to pass Notes around or inflate rewards is cheating and is prohibited.
- We keep an accurate record. Every movement of Notes is written to a permanent ledger. If a balance is ever wrong we will correct it with a recorded adjustment, not by silently changing numbers.
- We can change or end the feature. We may change how Notes work, change the available amounts, or retire the feature, giving reasonable notice where we can. We may also remove Notes obtained through error, abuse or breach of these terms.
5. When an account is closed or deleted
Notes belong to the account and have no value outside it. If you delete your account, or we close it for breaking the rules, any balance is lost and cannot be recovered. We keep the accounting record of past sprays, without your name, email or photo, because the law and sound accounting require it. See Account Deletion.
6. Purchases inside Telegram
If digital items are ever sold inside the Telegram Mini App, Telegram’s own rules will apply, including its requirement to use Telegram Stars for such purchases.
7. Questions
